What a ceramic coating is

A ceramic coating is a liquid polymer that chemically bonds to your clear coat and cures into a hard, glossy, hydrophobic layer. Unlike wax or sealant that sits on the surface and washes away over months, a coating becomes part of the surface, which is why it is rated in years.

Hydrophobic means water-repelling: rain beads and rolls off, carrying dirt with it, and road film wipes away with far less effort. Day to day, a coated car stays cleaner longer and washes dramatically easier.

Prep is included because prep is everything

A coating locks in whatever is underneath it, permanently for its lifespan. That is why this price includes preparation: the paint is washed, decontaminated, and readied so the coating bonds to clean clear coat rather than sealing contamination against it.

If your paint carries swirl marks you want removed before they are locked under a coating, pair this with a One Step Paint Correction, or step up to the 5 Year coating, which includes single stage correction.

Longevity and hardness. Wax lasts weeks to months and sealant a season or two; both sit on top of the paint. A ceramic coating chemically bonds to the clear coat and is rated in years, with much stronger chemical and UV resistance.
Hand wash or touchless only, with pH-neutral soap, and skip brush tunnels entirely. The coating makes washing easier, not unnecessary; we cover the full aftercare when you pick the vehicle up.
If you can see swirls in direct light, yes: the coating will preserve them just as faithfully as it preserves good paint. The 5 Year coating includes a single stage correction for exactly this reason.
