What one stage of correction does

Swirl marks are thousands of fine scratches in the clear coat, mostly from automatic car washes and improper hand washing. Under direct light they read as circular haze, and they scatter the light that should be reflecting cleanly, which is why swirled paint looks dull even when it is spotless.

A one step correction machine-polishes each panel with a single combination of pad and polish, leveling the clear coat enough to remove the majority of that defect layer. The transformation on a typical daily driver is dramatic: color depth and reflection come back everywhere.

Why the price starts at "From"

Published correction numbers are starting points, and that is deliberate: vehicles vary due to neglect. Soft paint, hard paint, years of tunnel washes, previous bad polishing: the labor differs car to car. We inspect your paint, tell you exactly what one stage will achieve on it, and set the final number before any machine touches the vehicle.

If your paint carries heavier oxidation or deeper defects than one stage can level, we will say so and point you at the Two Step Paint Correction instead of overpromising this one.

It depends on the paint and its condition, which is exactly what the inspection determines. One stage is the sweet spot for typical swirling on a maintained vehicle; heavily defected paint is Two Step territory.
Strongly recommended. Corrected paint is bare and freshly polished; sealing it (Paint Sealant) or coating it (Ceramic Coating) protects the work. Correction plus coating is the classic pairing.
Correction removes existing defects; it does not make paint scratch-proof. How you wash afterward decides how long it stays flawless: hand washing with clean media keeps corrected paint looking corrected.
