Why carnauba still exists
Modern sealants and coatings beat wax on every durability metric, and yet carnauba persists for one reason: the look. A quality carnauba imparts a warm, deep, slightly soft glow that enthusiasts swear no synthetic quite matches, especially on dark colors and classic paint.
It is applied by hand, panel by panel, and buffed to finish. On freshly cleaned or corrected paint the effect is immediate.
The right car for it
This is the finish for the weekend car, the show entry, the classic, or simply the owner who enjoys the traditional result. It is also the most affordable protection step in our lineup, which makes it an easy add to an Exterior Detail or a correction.
For a daily driver that lives outside through a Pittsburgh winter, the Paint Sealant or a ceramic coating is the more practical protector; wax is about beauty first.
